Default Values
Default values pre-fill fields when checking assets in and out, saving time and ensuring consistency. Users can still override them on individual operations.
Navigate to Options > Default Values.
Available Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Check-In Status | The status automatically selected when checking in an asset (e.g., "Available") |
| Check-Out Status | The status automatically selected when checking out an asset (e.g., "Checked Out") |
| Check-Out Return Due Date Offset | Automatically calculate a return due date when checking out — no default, or current date plus a specified number of days, weeks, months, or years |
Configure the settings and click Save. To remove a default, select the blank option and save.
